Care

To assist with running AV sound system and media for Celebration of Life services, events, and workshops as needed. (Training Provided)

Check-in assistance for occasional events/workshops could be in the evenings or on Saturdays.

Schedule: Varies as needed – based on requested Celebration of Life, Events, and Workshops.

Volunteers are needed to help greet and direct individuals as they come into the church for a Celebration of Life Service.

Schedule:  Varies as needed per family request and rotating teams.  It can be on weekdays or Saturdays—usually 10a -12p for visitation and service. If lunch is provided, extra time may be requested from the volunteer to assist if available.

We are looking for volunteers who have a heart to help others. Facilitators come alongside people who are hurting and facing challenging times and offer care in a support group setting. Facilitators promote healthy group discussion, creating a safe atmosphere for individual growth and development.

Schedule: Mondays, 6:30-8:30p

Additional Information: Interested volunteers are required to complete a 3-week Care Training Course.

Individual Care is a practical, short-term approach to getting adults back on track with their lives and relationships. This Care is not about giving personal advice, nor is it a substitution for professional counseling. Volunteers provide support, next steps, and prayer as adults work towards relevant solutions to their struggles. 

Schedule: Appointment-based, one-six meetings, as assigned by Care Staff.

Marriage Care is hope-focused support for couples dealing with common rough spots in marriage. Volunteers help couples find out what is going well and what isn’t, and understand the “why” as they work towards discovering relevant solutions for their specific situations. Marriage Care volunteers are couples experiencing healthy, Christ-centered marriages. 

Schedule: Appointment based, one-six meetings, as assigned by Care Staff.
