Join Love Runs and become part of the movement to end human trafficking in Metro Detroit. We’ll train for the Detroit Free Press Festival of Races, including the 5K, half marathon, and full marathon. The new season kicks off on June 16. No experience is required—all ages and fitness levels are welcome.

Join us for an informational meeting and learn how you can become part of the movement to end human trafficking in Metro Detroit. We’ll be training for the Detroit Free Press Festival of Races, including the 5K, half marathon, and full marathon while raising funds to rescue and restore victims of human trafficking. No experience is required—all ages and fitness levels are welcome.
*Onsite registration will be available. If you plan to sign up for an international race, please bring your passport or enhanced driver’s license.
How to Join the Team!
Follow the steps below to sign up for the 5K, Half or Full Marathon.
- Sign up on the Detroit Marathon’s official site.
- Click on “Register Here.”
- Select your race.
- Log in or create an account.
- Complete the registration process.
- When prompted to “Support an Organization,” choose “Love Runs” from the dropdown menu.
- Review your registration, checkout, and submit.
- Take a deep breath—you did it!
Note: The 2025 Detroit Free Press Full Marathon and International Half Marathon are SOLD OUT—but you can still secure a spot! Love Runs has exclusive charity partner codes that provide access to these races for a limited time. Email ridgerunners@northridgechurch.com to find out how to get yours.
