WHAT IS A MILLION MEALS EVENT? Every year, millions of children die from preventable causes such as pneumonia, diarrhea, malaria, and undernutrition. Hunger is still causing nearly half of the deaths in children under five years old. From this data, it is estimated that at least 6,200 children die each day from causes related to undernutrition. This is heartbreaking… and this is where we can Show Them His Love.
NorthRidge is partnering with Feed My Starving Children to hand-pack 1,000,000 meals for starving children in 3 days!
WHO IS FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN?
Feed My Starving Children is a nonprofit Christian organization dedicated to feeding God’s starving children around the world. Their approach is simple: volunteers of all ages hand-pack specially formulated meals for children in need.
In the Fiscal Year Results (Mar 1, 2025 – Feb 28, 2026), 382,120,176 meals were distributed globally—enough to provide 1,046,904 children with a daily meal for an entire year!
“Blessed are those that are generous because they feed the poor.”
Proverbs 22:9 (NLT)
The MannaPack consists of rice, soy protein, dehydrated vegetables, 20 vitamins/minerals, and vegetarian chicken flavoring. Each meal provides the key nutrients a starving child needs to survive and thrive.
These meals are distributed through orphanages, clinics, schools, and relief centers.
Anyone age five or older is welcome! You do not need to be a member or attendee of NorthRidge Church to participate. Invite a friend, neighbor, or co-worker to support this outreach with you. Make it a family event.

Register to pack meals for a 2-hour shift on April 30, May 1, or May 2.
Sign up as an individual, family (children 5yrs and above can participate), or group. Invite your friends, neighbors, and co-workers to join the fun!
“Feed My Starving Children is blessed to partner with NorthRidge Church. The world has gotten so much hungrier in the last few years. This MobilePack event is going to produce 1,003,104 meals for children living in conditions beyond our imaginations. Each one of those meals is a victory over hunger. A MobilePack as big as this one allows us to say, “Yes! Dinner is ready!” to so many more kids. This is going to be awesome!” – Feed My Starving Children
Please make sure to review the Jewelry & Sickness Policies below.
To comply with FDA requirements and remove all opportunity for foreign objects to fall into our life-saving meals (which could cause choking, tooth breakage and more), FMSC volunteers must remove all jewelry and/or accessories before packing.
FAQs
Can I put my jewelry in my pocket?
No, please do not place loose jewelry into your pockets. However, FMSC will provide a plastic, zipped bag for your jewelry, which you can then place into your pocket.
I’ve volunteered at FMSC in the past and was allowed to wear jewelry, why can’t I do that anymore?
In order to comply with FDA standards for food manufacturing plants, FMSC was required to change the jewelry policy. The quality of our food is very important to us—this updated policy will help to insure that foreign objects will not contaminate our food.
If my earrings will be covered by the hairnet FMSC makes me wear, can I leave them in?
No, you still must remove your earrings.
To help keep our volunteers, staff, and the food we prepare safe, we kindly ask that you stay home if you’re experiencing any new or unexplained symptoms of a contagious illness or food-borne disease (this doesn’t include seasonal allergies or known non-contagious conditions).
