Central Detroit Christian (CDC) is a Christian organization committed to changing the lives of central Detroiters for over 20 years.
The CDC provides job training, tutoring, home rehabilitation, home demolition, urban gardening, and countless other opportunities for the residents of an economically challenged area of the city. Sharing the Gospel through word and deed in Central Detroit is the mission of this organization. Learn more about the CDC.
How you can get involved: Join us as we serve quarterly, doing various projects ranging from refurbishing housing to working with families in the community. Experience is optional for these work days. You can volunteer a couple of times a year or quarterly.
Each trip is a different project, working downtown from about 9a-1p. For special events such as the Back-to-School Backpacks distribution or the Christmas Store, we may meet on additional Saturdays to help fill this need. There may be special projects that will require other dates as well.
