February 4 - Name of God: El Emunah

Meaning: The Faithful God

Deuteronomy 7:9 - “Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.”

Prayer: God, Awe, and gratitude flood my soul this morning as I think about who You are and Your love for me. Even when my faith falters, You are faithful. Forgive me for the moments when I take Your love for granted. And forgive me when I don't make You and Your Word my priority. God, tune my ears today to hear You and help me through Your Spirit walk in obedience. Thank you for loving me.

February 5 - Name of God: El Hayyay

Meaning: God of My Life

Psalm 42:8 - “By day the Lord directs his love, at night his song is with me - a prayer to the God of my life.”

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank you for who You are! All of your names speak love, joy, hope, and peace to me, everything that You are. You have given me life, and not just an empty life that’s meaningless but full of Your love and purpose. Thank you for directing your love to me. It overwhelms me and makes me want to sing your praises all through the day. May the life that You’ve chosen to give me be a life that lights the way to others knowing You. You are not just the God that gives me life but are the God of my life! Amen.

February 6 - Name of God: El Kanna

Meaning: Jealous God

Exodus 20:5 - “You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God,punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,”

Prayer: Lord, You are a jealous God, and You have every right to be. You are the only One deserving of my worship and life’s devotion. Today I ask that You will show me how I can take steps forward in my journey living for You and not for myself. May my life today be a living sacrifice for You and Your kingdom.

February 7 - Name of God: Elohim Machase Lanu

Meaning: God of Our Refuge

Psalm 62:8 - “Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.”

Prayer: Lord, I’m pouring my heart out to You today. I need Your refuge and strength like never before to survive this crazy world I live in. Help me to replace the fears that bombard my mind every day with a renewed trust in You. I’m trusting You to help me accomplish everything You have called me to do today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

February 8 - Name of God: Elohenu Olam

Meaning: Our Everlasting God

Psalm 48:14 - “For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end.”

Prayer: God, You are faithful and everlasting. I am so grateful You walk with me through every season of life. I know You have been directing my steps from the moment I was born and will continue leading me to the moment I take my last breath. I will choose to follow wherever You lead and guide me for all the days of my life.

February 9 - Name of God: Elohim Ozer Li

Meaning: God My Helper

Psalm 54:4 - “Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me.”

Prayer: Father God, I need you. I admit that the majority of the time, I leave You out of my everyday decisions. Many times I operate as if You are not there and don’t care. But Lord, not anymore. I want You to help me in every aspect of my life. I surrender control of it all. I cannot and do not want to do this without You. You are what I need!

February 10 - Name of God: El Roi

Meaning: The God Who Sees Me

Genesis 16:13 - “She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: ‘You are the God who sees me,’ for she said, ‘I have now seen the One who sees me.’”

Prayer: Father, in this season, I feel unseen most days. No one knows how I’m really feeling, and I wonder if anyone would even understand. I can relate to Sarai as she suffered for many years, wondering if You even cared. But today, I will call Your Name El Roi and declare Your presence even when I feel alone. You see me today, You see my tomorrow, and You care about me more than I can fathom. Thank You for seeing me when no one else does. I love You. Amen.

February 11 - Name of God: El Sali

Meaning: The God of My Strength

Isaiah 41:10 - “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I understand in this moment that you are my strength. Although I feel unprepared and unqualified, I know I walk into this day not in my strength but your strength. I rely on you and you alone to help me get through this day and every day.

February 12 - Name of God: El Shaddai

Meaning: Almighty God

Psalm 21:13 - “Be exalted in your strength, Lord; we will sing and praise your might.”

Prayer: Lord, I come before You and ask You to quiet my mind. I want to put aside my list of wants and needs and any distractions to focus on You, Your greatness, and worship You. You are my strength when I am weak; I don’t need to fear with You by my side. Thank you for all You have done in my life and all You will do in the future. Help me to trust You and fully rely on your strength and power. I praise and exalt You, Almighty God. Amen.

February 13 - Name of God: Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh

Meaning: The Eternal, All-Sufficient God

Psalm 90:2 - “Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.”

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I am in awe of you. I cannot even begin to fathom Your greatness. Even though You are so vast, powerful, and eternal, You still care for me. Help me not to put my trust in anything temporary but to trust in You, the everlasting God! Help me remember that even in a temporary world filled with temporary struggles, I can depend fully and totally on You! Thank you for supplying more than enough for me, my eternal, all-sufficient God. Amen.

February 14 - Name of God: Elohei Mikkarov

Meaning: God Who is Near

Jeremiah 23:23 - “I am a God who is near, declares the Lord, and not a God far off.”

Prayer: Thank you, God, for this truth! You have not left me. You are not distant. You are here with me. I am opening the door of my life to You now. I want to do this life with You and not keep You at arm’s length. Help me to know Your presence and live in the grace that it brings to my life. You are near to me; help me draw near to You.

February 15 - Name of God: Jehovah Immeka

Meaning: The Lord is With You

Deuteronomy 31:6 - “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord Your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Prayer: Lord, it’s so easy for me to walk in fear and not in faith. Forgive me for focusing more on my circumstances than on Your presence. Thank You for walking with me through every difficulty and trial I face. When I begin to worry or panic, remind me to be strong and courageous because I am not alone. You are always with me. Help me to walk with You in strength and courage today. Amen.

February 16 - Name of God: Jehova Rapha

Meaning: The Lord Who Heals

Jeremiah 30:17 - “‘But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the LORD,”

Prayer: God, You are the great physician. You know all my hurt and pain before it even happens, but You also know how to heal and restore all of my wounds. God, I choose to surrender all of my physical, emotional, and relational pain and brokenness to You and trust Your spirit as you heal and restore me. I know and trust that You are not far off or distant when I need healing.
