Groups are at the heart of living out the 16 Word Mission of NorthRidge.
We cannot do what God has called us to do alone. Jesus calls His people to live in community, living life together as we seek to wake up our friends, neighbors, coworkers and city to Jesus Christ.
Do you love to help people connect to God and others? Then becoming a Group Leader may be the place for you! Leaders facilitate discussion and help connect group members. You don't have to be a Bible expert; you have to love people and have a desire to learn and grow with them.
Schedule: Schedule varies by the group - meeting weekly/biweekly
Requirements: Membership or working towards membership, attend Basic & Specialized Training, complete a background check and interview with leadership.
Additional Information: We recommend that you participate in a Community Group prior to leading one. Group information is available here.

Have you ever heard someone say they have a "relationship with God" but never really understood exactly what that meant? Starting Point is a small gathering of people looking to understand what it means to have a relationship with God. It's the place where facilitators help create a respectful environment through authentic conversation so people can discover and experience God at their own pace.
Schedule: Meets weekly for eight weeks per semester, usually Saturday and Sunday during services and Monday at 6:30p. There are three semesters per year: Fall, Winter, and Spring. You will sign up for the semester you'd like to lead about a month beforehand.
Requirements: Membership or working towards membership; attend Basic Training, complete a background check, and interview with leadership
Additional Information: Once you complete the requirements to lead a group, you will go through one semester as an apprentice. This apprenticeship will be invaluable for you to learn the dynamics of a Starting Point Group.
