Current topic: The Revelation
This week: Heaven

November 27
2 Peter 3:13-14, "But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness. So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him."

Prayer: Father God, I cannot wait for heaven! While my soul longs for this future reality, my life in the here and now is so easily distracted. Father, forgive me for living for myself and the temporary satisfaction of this world. I long to bring You honor and glory right now so Father, shape my heart and transform my desires. Help me to be faithful to You and obedient to Your Word.

November 28
2 Corinthians 4:17-18, "For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."

Prayer: Father, I admit that I so easily become consumed with the frustrations and stresses of life. It consumes my joy, my peace, and my hope, and it leads me to some dark places. But not today. Thank You for this truth that all of this is just temporary, and what You have for me is perfect, holy, and eternal. Today, I will not be consumed by the worries of this life, but I will lift my eyes to You.

Experiencing the Fullness of God

September 20
John 10:27-28, "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand."

Prayer: Heavenly Father, Thank You for being my shepherd. Thank You for knowing, leading, and speaking to me. Help me today to listen and recognize Your voice. I commit to following You wherever You lead. Thank You for Your promise never to let me go and keep me protected. In Jesus' Name, I pray, Amen.

September 21
John 10:10, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."

Prayer: Heavenly Father, forgive me for the times I fall into the trap of thinking that anything that I desire can be found apart from You. For You have come not only to give me life but to give me life to the full. Everything my heart desires is found in You and You alone. So, give me strength today to avoid the temptation of the Evil One and follow You instead.

September 22
John 14:1-3, "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

Prayer: Jesus, Thank You for loving and saving me from my sin so that I could be a child of God. Though living in troubling times, I find peace knowing that You will never leave me or forsake me. Thank You for preparing a special place in heaven just for me! I'm looking forward to the day You come back and take me home to live with You forever. May I be found faithful and ready when You return. Amen.

September 23
Acts 1:11, "This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven."

Prayer: God help me to remember Your faithfulness! A day is 1,000 years and 1,000 years is a day to You, the One who is not bound by time. What an incredible thing! You are not slow in Your coming. Your grace and mercy are being extended today for more people to come into Your kingdom. Help me live on mission today in light of that opportunity You have given to me and the people I will come across. Jesus, I can't wait for You to come and make all things right - but I will choose to live in the purpose You have created me for until then! In Your name, I pray - Amen.

September 24
Matthew 28:20b, "And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Prayer: Father God, I cling to this promise that You are with me. So often, I feel alone, unseen and unloved. I know that this is a lie, but it is honest. Father, when things become overwhelming, please remind me that You are there and You are with me. Help me live in the promise of Your presence and trust that You are working on my behalf. Today, I will trust this promise even when I may not feel it.

September 25
1 John 1:5, "This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all."

Prayer: God, the world is dark all around me. With so many questions left unanswered, I do know one thing, that You are the light that sustains me. In You, I can light up the world that I walk in. In You, others can see my testimony and see hope. I will live in the glow of Your grace and goodness today. I love You! Amen.

September 26
Acts 2:15-17a, "These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It's only nine in the morning! No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:" 'In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people…" [Joel 2:28]

Prayer: God, there is nothing better than You. You are my source of freedom, peace, and joy. In every season of my life, I discover new ways that You are working in my life. You never stop showing me pieces of who You are and Your will for my life. I am fully alive in You!

Pleasing God

September 27
1 Corinthians 15:58, “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”

Prayer: God, I confess that when my circumstances are difficult or out of my control, I tend to focus on what is happening rather than who You are. In those moments, I’m distracted and lose sight of what is important and has eternal value. I want to let go of the things of this world that occupy my thoughts and emotions and cause me to stumble. God, help me to keep my gaze fixed on You, Your promises, and Your goodness so that others may see You in my life.

September 28
Revelation 2:2-3, “I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked people, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false. You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary.”

Prayer: Heavenly Father, Thank You for this day! Thank You for Your Word, and I pray that You would help me live out these characteristics of Your church. Give me the strength to work hard and persevere, help me not tolerate wickedness, and even when I come up against hardships for Your name, please help me endure and push on! I want to bring You glory with the way I live my life so that all who see me will see You and be encouraged to come to know You as their Lord and Savior! In Jesus’ Name, I pray Amen.

September 29
Hebrews 10:25, “(Let us) not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

Prayer: Father God, Thank You for another day of life. Today I’m reminded in your Word just how important it is to remember that I was never created to walk this journey alone. I need other believers that I’m doing life with. It’s Your will that I seek other believers to walk with and encourage as we journey together through this life. Help me strive for ways to engage in Christian community today and each day.

September 30
Psalm 73:26, “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

Prayer: Father, thank You for Your divine promise. Even though evil seems to be winning and my body and faith sometimes fail, You still prevail! You are my Rock, my Provider, my Protector, and more than enough for everything I need today. So help me release control over all my cares, fears, and desires. I place them all into Your loving hands.

October 1
2 Corinthians 12:9, “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”

Prayer: God, I thank You that I do not have to be sufficient! Even though my pride and the talent You have gifted me with sometimes cause me to think otherwise, I’m thankful for the reminder that You are more than enough. I pray today that I will boast about Your power and not my own. That I will admit my mistakes, poor decisions, and weaknesses boldly so that You can receive all glory for how You work and move in and through my life! Amen.

October 2
Revelation 2:19, “I know your deeds, your love and faith, your service and perseverance, and that you are now doing more than you did at first.”

Prayer: Father God, You have called me to love, serve and obey You. I admit that there are moments and even seasons in my life that I fail. I praise You for forgiving me for those times. In this moment, I am committing today to please You. I am committing to expressing my love for You through obedience. By Your grace and strength, I shall do the same tomorrow and every day after. Father, help me to continue to grow in faithfulness to You.

October 3
John 14:15, “If you love me, keep my commands.”

Prayer: Father, I want to show You, my love. But instead, I overcomplicate something that You’ve made so simple. You ask for my obedience, not a perfect life. You want me to pursue You, not rules or traditions. Today I choose to give You what You desire: a surrendered and obedient heart. Use me for whatever You have planned. I love You! Amen.

God's Blessings Missed

October 4
Revelation 2:4, "Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love."

Prayer: God, I know my life is too busy. I fill up every waking moment with noise that comes from the news, social media, and the relationships around me, and yet the one voice I don't prioritize is Yours. I have forsaken the one voice that can bring me hope, truth, and direction. God help today be the start of minimizing the noise around me and getting back to the still and quiet place so I can hear Your voice.

October 5

Prayer: God, my senses are bombarded daily with messages accepted by our culture that has slowly crept into my thoughts and behavior. Forgive me for getting off course, for listening more to this world than You. I've drifted from what You want for me and from me. Strengthen me in my weakness, and let me bring honor to You for the sacrifice Jesus made to free me from sin. Use me to love and serve others.

October 6
2 Peter 2:1, "But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves."

Prayer: Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your Word! Today help me distinguish Your truth from the lies that surround me. Help me to hide Your Word in my heart so that I'll be able to see through falsehoods meant to lead me astray. Thank You for Your guidance and protection. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

October 7
Matthew 23:27, "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men's bones and everything unclean."

Prayer: Heavenly Father, Today I'm reminded that what matters most to You is not the external but the internal. Forgive me for the times that I get so focused on crossing off the religious to-do boxes that I forget about the condition of my heart. Give me clarity today on the internal issues of the heart that I need to focus on.

October 8
1 John 2:4, "Whoever says, 'I know him,' but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, Thank You for the opportunity to know You. Please forgive me for the times that I have not been obedient to what You've asked me to do. As You search my heart today, help me see what I need to surrender to You, and please give me the faith and strength to obey. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

You have come so that I might have life to the full; I don't have to "get through" this season, this life. Help me today to see and experience the joy available to me to stand the test well! What an amazing promise that I will receive the crown of life from You!

October 10
Revelation 3:19, "Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent."

Prayer: Father God, I praise You for Your love. I admit I hate rebuke, correction, and discipline, but I know that because You love me, it is right, and it is good. So often, I am so deceived by the world's allure of pleasure, control, and happiness that I become ineffective and useless in my faith. Father, forgive me for the times this is true of me. Forgive me when I am neither hot nor cold but lukewarm. I praise You for Your kindness towards me. Help me to live honorably for You today.

October 11
Colossians 3:1-2, "Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things."

Prayer: Oh, how I long to live every moment today experiencing the glories of my relationship with You, God! I tend to give my worship away to other things and people, leaving me exhausted and burned out, aching for more out of this life. Today I choose to focus my attention on You, Your faithfulness, and Your closeness. I choose to give You all of my worship. Use me today, and may my focus bring You glory. Amen.

October 12
Revelation 4:11, "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being."

Prayer: God help me live a life that brings You worship, honor, and glory. You are worthy of every thought I have and every breath I take. Today I don't want just to sing songs of worship but live a life that points others towards Your honor, glory, and power.

October 13
Isaiah 6:3, "And they were calling to one another: 'Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.'"

Prayer: God, I confess that far too often, my relationship with You is transactional and casual. Please forgive me for losing sight of who You are and Your greatness. You are my Savior and King. You are the only one worthy of my devotion and worship, for You alone are Holy. May I never take Your grace, mercy, and love for granted.

October 14

Prayer: Father God, today I'm reminded that the answer to my anxious thoughts is simply bringing my anxious thoughts to You. You've invited me to bring anything and everything to You with a spirit of gratitude, knowing You can help me in any and all situations. No matter what I may be facing, You offer me a peace beyond my understanding and circumstances.

October 15

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I am so grateful for Your mercy in my life. Your never-ending love, forgiveness, and pursuit of a relationship with me have given me hope, purpose, and a new identity in You even though I was not worthy of it. I worship You with my surrendered life. My will and my way, I humbly submit to Yours. I want what You want for me, so I give all of me to You! Thank You for this new life in Jesus' Name, Amen.

October 17
Psalm 29:1-2, "Ascribe to the Lord, you heavenly beings, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness."

Prayer: God, I do want You to receive the honor and glory You are due! Help me today to work for Your kingdom and not my own. May Your name be lifted today, not mine. I pray that my life is a living sacrifice, the true act of worship that You desire!

It Is Worth It

October 18
John 16:33, "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

Prayer: Father God, I praise You for the peace You give. I praise You that You have overcome the brokenness of the world. You are worth my everything! But Father, I confess that the lies and the trouble of the world consume me too often, and I fail to honor You. Lord, encourage my heart and fill me with Your peace to do what is right, good, and honoring. You are worthy of my all!

October 19
Philippians 2:9-11, "Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

Prayer: God, I have hope right now because of Your promise for my eternity. You hold my life together even when I'm falling apart. You remain in control when I can't. I know that following You today is worth it because You hold my forever. Your name is above all others, and today I will live in that truth. I love You. Amen.

October 20
1 John 5:4-5, "for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God."

Prayer: Jesus, following You has been the single most important and impactful decision I have made in my life. The salvation I have in You helps me overcome every struggle and sin I have in my life. Thank You for leading me into a life of victory. Following You, Jesus is worth my daily surrender to You.

October 21
1 Peter 4:14,16, "If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you…However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.

Prayer: God, these verses challenge me. Do I suffer from being a Christian; for proclaiming the name of Jesus boldly? I think I suffer more from the wrong choices I've made that have natural consequences. Help me, Father, walk in a closer relationship with You, seek You in all things, praise You, and proclaim the name of Jesus through my words and my actions... because You alone are worthy!

October 22
Philippians 3:8, "What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ."

Prayer: Lord Jesus, please continue Your good work in me today so that my desires may echo this passage. I want to grow in knowing more of You in my life. Help me give up the things I used to value that do not compare to what I've found in You. Thank You for that surpassing greatness! In Jesus' Name, Amen.

October 23
1 Peter 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade."

Prayer: God, I thank You for the living hope I have through the resurrection of Your son Jesus Christ. I'm reminded today through Your Word that everything this world has to offer will one day perish, spoil, or decay. It's all temporary. All of it... except for the hope I have in Jesus. I walk into this day grateful and overwhelmed by Your mercy.

October 24
Galatians 2:20, "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."

The Harvest is Coming

October 25
Romans 3:25, "God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith."

Prayer: What a wonder it is that You gave Your life for me! That by faith, I receive it, not by any accomplishments I can achieve or efforts I can give. God, I pray today that You would help me to live in light of Your love for me, that I would demonstrate that kind of love to You and others. Work in and through me today for Your honor and glory! Amen.

October 26
2 Corinthians 6:2, "For he says, 'In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.' I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation."

Prayer: Father God, I praise you for the gift of today. Thank you for Your mercy this morning and the promise of Your grace for this day. Lord, draw my heart towards You and Your plan. I do not want to waste my time consumed with temporal matters of this world, but I want to be used by You. I know that time is a gift from You, so help me use it for Your glory. Give me the eyes to see You and the heart to sense where You are working. Use me, Lord!

October 27
Acts 1:8, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

Prayer: God, I've been trying to fit all the pieces together in my own life. The result has been stress, worry, and overwhelm. Your Word tells me that I have a Helper, the Holy Spirit, who goes with me and shows me the way. So today, I choose to surrender my plans and all of the details to You. I don't create the harvest; that's Your job. And today, I'll trust You for it. Amen.

October 28
Acts 13:46, "For this is what the Lord has commanded us: "I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth."

Prayer: God, my life has meaning and purpose. I have been put here to point people to the only true light and purpose of life: Your son Jesus Christ. I want to live a life that leverages my time, energy, and talents for Your harvest. Help me to stay focused on being the light to my friends, family, and coworkers.

October 29
Matthew 5:15-16, "Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

Prayer: Good morning God! I'm here this morning astonished once again that with all my flaws, in all my brokenness, you still welcome me as Your child. Father, search my heart and my thoughts. Direct my thoughts to Your Word and the tasks You have for me today. Guard my mouth, and give me words to speak hope and love to those in need of You. Grant me boldness to proclaim You with those I encounter today. In Jesus' Name.

October 30
Romans 1:16, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes…"

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I am so grateful for the Gospel, the Good News of Jesus, that has changed my life. Thank You for loving me and showing me Your grace and mercy. Help me to be bold in sharing my story and what you've done in me. Help me not to be ashamed and bring me opportunities today to share your message of salvation, and may someone come to know You as their Lord and Savior as a result. In Jesus' name. Amen.

October 31
John 9:4-5, "As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world."

Prayer: Father God, I'm beyond humbled that You have and will continue to use my life for Your glory. Fill my mind and heart today with the realization that my days on this earth are numbered. Allow me to feel the urgency and importance of living my life in such a way that the light of my life shines brightly on You.

The Great Counterfeit

November 1
2 Corinthians 11:14, "And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light."

Prayer: Father, it’s so easy for me to fall for Satan’s lies; that evil is good and good is evil. My only weapon is Your Word. Help me to make it a priority; read it daily, meditate and memorize it so that I have Your authority and Your power to say no to every temptation Satan throws at me. Thank You, Jesus, for the victory I already have in You! Greater are You who lives in me than Satan who lives in this world.

November 2
2 Timothy 3:12, "In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted."

Prayer: This is not a fun truth today, God. So often, if I face any persecution, it feels like a punishment - help me remember that it is an opportunity to suffer with Christ, the greatest honor of our lives. Keep me grateful that the persecution I face is nothing compared to what many brothers and sisters face around the world. I pray for Your grace and peace with them, especially today. Keep me aware that any persecution I face is an opportunity to reflect You to those around me for Your glory!

November 3
Ephesians 6:10-11, "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes."

Prayer: Father God, I praise You for the protection that You provide from the enemy. Thank you for Your power so that I can stand strong, defeat temptation, and discern what is right or wrong. Thank You for Your truth that exposes the schemes and lies of the evil one. Thank you for fighting on my behalf. In the end, I know you win, but I praise You for Your presence and protection in the moment.

November 4
Ephesians 6:12, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."

Prayer: God, I've seen the enemy steal joy and hope from friends and family who have forgotten that they have refuge in You. Satan is ramping up the battle for our light. The darkness feels like it is closing in and that the battle has taken too many prisoners. But, that which is counterfeit also has counterfeit power. May we choose to walk in Your strength and power today, knowing that the battle-winning power is inside of us because of You. Thank You for being Faithful forever.

November 5
Psalm 119:11, "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you."

Prayer: God, you are a God of truth. Help me to grow in my knowledge and understanding of your truth. Help me to establish rhythms and routines of reading and understanding Your word and Your truth. As I know and understand your truth, I know I can stand again the temptation and sin of this world.

November 6
Daniel 1:8, "But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way."

Prayer: Father, may I be as steadfast in my dedication to You today as Daniel. It's so easy to stumble when tempted with what seems reasonable or harmless from the world's perspective. I want to grow in the knowledge of Your Word so that I know what You desire for me and from me. Father, strengthen me through Your Spirit so that I won't compromise Your truth.

November 7
Romans 8:1, "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus."

Prayer: Heavenly Father, that truth this morning it's life-changing! I am so grateful for the freedom I have in You through Your forgiveness of my sins! Thank You for coming to live in me, not condemning me, and for changing me! I am eternally grateful. May my life be an example to others who desperately need You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Love Not The World

November 8
Proverbs 14:12, "There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death."

Prayer: Father God, I'm reminded today through Your Word not to rely on my own understanding or my own wisdom or even my own thoughts. For each of us has the capacity of self-deception. As I journey through this life, may I rely on Your Word to guide my steps and Your Spirit to guide my heart. I want to go Your way and not my way.

November 9
1 Peter 5:9, "Resist him (the devil), standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings."

Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me resist Satan's temptations through the power and promises of Your Word. Forgive me when I worry, thinking You can't handle my trials. Jesus, give all Your children the strength to endure persecution. Thank You, Jesus, for giving us the power to live in victory even in the midst of severe suffering. Deliver us all from evil and enable us to stand firm in our faith. In Jesus' name, I pray, AMEN.

November 10
1 John 2:15, "Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him."

Prayer: It's tough not to love the things of this world. I know that the eternal is what's worth loving, but it's so hard to keep my mind focused on those things. Help me see the people around me today as the eternal beings they are, and help me love them more as You do. Thank You for loving me and allowing me to experience it!

November 11
Romans 12:2, "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."

Prayer: Heavenly Father, forgive me for buying into the lies of our culture and for the habits they have created in my life. Father, rid my life of those lies and flood my heart and mind with Your truth so that I may know what honors You. Help create within me habits and patterns that bring You glory and honor. Change me, Father, for I am Yours.

November 12
James 4:7, "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

Prayer: God, I need Your help today to know the difference between the enemy and his schemes and the light of Your truth. You give life on the other side of Your promises, while the enemy gives death. You hold me up while the enemy holds me under. Help me to see him in action so I can turn to You and resist temptation. You are my Hope and Rescue.

Psalm 119:9,11 - "How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word…I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you."

James 4:4
, "You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God."

Prayer: Father, I never want to be seen as an enemy in Your eyes. Help me as I live in this present world to guard my heart and mind to think first of You, Your desires, and all You've done for me. It's so easy to chase the shiny things of this world, but I'm reminded this morning that this world is not my home, and what I have here is temporary. Focus my gaze on You and eternity.

I pray that my life would exemplify Your kingdom. I don't want my will but Yours to be done. As I surrender my will to Yours, may everyone I encounter today experience You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Genesis 1:31,
"God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day."

Creator God, I'm humbled today as I'm reminded that my existence on this earth is by no means an accident. You created me with a purpose. You made me to worship You and bring You glory with every breath I breathe. May I go into this day with the intention to live out the goodness You've designed me to live. May people see You through me today.

Isaiah 33:5-6, "The Lord is exalted, for he dwells on high; he will fill Zion with his justice and righteousness. He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure."

I worship You Almighty God, high and lifted up, reigning over all with justice and righteousness! Thank You for saving me from my sin and choosing me to be Your child! Living in an upside-down world, I am standing on Your Truth as my firm foundation. Give me the wisdom to say no to the world daily and yes to Your plans, for they are the key to a fulfilled life. As I face seemingly darker times ahead, remind me that I always have hope in You. May my life bring You glory.

, "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God."

Prayer: Thank You, God, that I am found in You! I don't deserve Your love, Your sacrifice for me. Your love is so much greater than what I have earned, but You have restored me into a right relationship with You anyways. Please forgive me of my sin God, it doesn't please or honor You, and it isn't what's best for me. Help me live today with the kind of love You have for me, and keep my eyes open to opportunities to show and share it today!

John 16:33, "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

Prayer: God, all I can see today are the walls of the kingdom I have built here around me on earth. I'm consumed with the "what ifs" of today instead of trusting You with this moment and every future moment. You have overcome the world, the past, the present, and the future are Yours. I pray that truth will change me today. Help me to see and pursue Your glorious kingdom right here and now.
