John 14:27 - “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
Prayer: Dear Jesus, I thank You so much for this gift of peace that you promised to give us. Thank you that it is so much more trustworthy and complete than the world offers. Help me in the times when I do not fully trust in Your peace and when I forget Your promises. Help me to remember your peace when my heart leans into trouble times and when my fear starts to get the best of me. I pray that You will not only bless me with Your peace for myself but that I could use it to bless others today. In Jesus name, Amen.

God, there are times and seasons when my mind and heart wander into dark places of worry and fear of what will happen. God, there are seasons that I simply have no peace, so Lord, I need You. I need Your help to refocus my mind on Jesus and engage my heart in worship. Holy Spirit, I ask that You allow me to see that God is at work all around me. Lord, lead me in Your peace today. Amen.

There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then He said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
