Baptism

Baptism at Northridge

What is Baptism?

Baptism is an outward confirmation of an inward decision – the public demonstration of our faith in Jesus – and the first step the Bible outlines for every Christ follower after trusting Him. The act does not make you a “believer,” nor does it “save” you. It simply shows that you have placed your faith in God’s only Son, and remains a symbol of the commitment you have made in your heart.

"For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives." Romans 6:4

Does your child need to attend the class? Call 734.233.3642 for details. (If your child has taken Starting Point for Kids, provide the completion date during the registration process.)
