Care Individual Mentor
Individual Care is an effective, short-term approach to getting adults back on track with their lives and relationships. This care is not about giving personal advice, nor is it a substitution for professional counseling. Volunteers simply provide support, next steps and prayer as adults work towards relevant solutions to their current struggles. You will meet 1-6 times with the adult as assigned by the Care Staff.
Interested volunteers are required to complete a 10-week Care Training Course.
Due to the nature of this volunteer position, you will also be required to go through an application, background check and interview process. You must be a NorthRidge member or actively pursuing membership to apply.
Time Commitment: Up to 6 meetings, as available and convenient.
