God has blessed us with many helpers as we live out the script He’s written for us. We need to accept the help of His word, submit to the help of the Holy Spirit and commit to helping each other in order to live life to the fullest.

Series: The Script Talk: The Helpers Weekend Services, February 4-5, 2012Introduction: Genesis 2:16-17 - And the LORD God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.”Genesis 3:8a - Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day…Genesis 2:18 - The LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 – Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!Numbers 11:17 - I will come down and speak with you there, and I will take of the Spirit that is on you and put the Spirit on them. They will help you carry the burden of the people so that you will not have to carry it alone.1 Samuel 15:10 - Then the word of the LORD came to Samuel.2 Chronicles 36:16 - But they mocked God’s messengers, despised his words and scoffed at his prophets until the wrath of the LORD was aroused against his people and there was no remedy.2 Timothy 3:16-17 - All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.John 8:32 - Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.John 14:16-17 - And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.John 16:13 - But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.John 13:34-35 - A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.Galatians 5:13 - You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love.Matthew 23:37 - O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing.Galatians 1:6-7 - I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel—which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ.Acts 2:41 - Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.John 1:12 - Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.Galatians 5:16, 22-23 - So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature…But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.1 Corinthians 12:18-20, 27 - But in fact God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body…Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.
