Starting Point

 

Starting Point is a 10-week experience to explore faith and pursue God in a conversational setting with 8-10 others for about 1 hour per week. Starting Point is for you if you are over eighteen years of age and are: Asking sincere questions about life & God, Looking for a clearer view of what it means to be a Christian, Starting or returning to a relationship with God, or Interested in pursuing God, but not sure how.

Plymouth Campus

  • Sep 14 – Nov 16 @ 5P (Saturday)
  • Sep 15 – Nov 17 @ 9A (Sunday)
  • Sep 15 – Nov 17 @ 11A (Sunday)

Brighton/Howell Campus

  • Sep 15 – Nov 17 – before the service at 9:30a (Sunday)

Ann Arbor-Saline Campus

  • Sep 15 – Nov 17 – before the service at 9:30a (Sunday)
 

Materials

Starting Point Book – The Conversation Guide is a 128-page, full color guide for Starting Point participants. It includes articles, exercises, and questions designed to facilitate the Starting Point experience. Also included are five compact discs with audio messages by Andy Stanley and Louie Giglio.

NIV Bible – We provide free of charge a New International Version Bible called the Journey Bible from Zondervan. It is a very helpful Bible for the new believer due to the additional easy to use guides and tools found within.

To find out more information and/or to join Starting Point, please stop by the lobby information desk at the Plymouth campus or at the main area in Ann Arbor-Saline or Brighton-Howell at the end of each service. Our groups fill up fast and so to reserve your place make sure you complete one of the cards. If a group gets filled too fast, we will will need to reserve a place for you during a subsequent run.

Once You’re Registered

  1. Please purchase the Starting Point pack from our Resource Center ($15)
  2. A Small Group co-leader will contact you, welcoming you to your Starting Point group
  3. Complete the chapter one section before the first meeting
  4. Enjoy your journey, you will never be the same!
