Student Ministries Volunteers

 
We are committed to creating a relevant and safe atmosphere for all students to come and learn about Christ and grow in their relationship with Him and each other.

 

RustProof (Jr. High)

  • Administrative Volunteer: Help with various admin tasks as needed such as mailings, data entry, student connections, birthday cards, etc.

  • Parent Volunteer: Parents of current students can serve in the registration area, cafe, etc. 1 hour per service.

  • Side-by-Side Partner: Partner with a developmentally challenged student to provide the extra support that the individual needs to participate more fully in the Student Ministries activities. Saturday 4:45p-6:45p; or Sunday 8:45a-10:45a or 11:00a-1:00p.

  • Weekend Volunteer - Plymouth: Lead a small group of students and serve in a helps area (registration, café, small groups, check in, tech team, games). Saturday 4:45p-6:45p; or Sunday 8:45a-10:45a or 11:00a-1:00p.

  • Weekend Volunteer - Saline: Lead a small group of students and serve in a helps area (registration, café, small groups, check in, tech team, games). Sundays 7:30a-10:30a or 10:30a-1:30p.

 Velocity (High School)

  • Ministry Volunteer: Lead a small group of students and serve in a helps area (registration, café, small groups, check in, tech team, games). Sunday 5:30p-9:30p.

Epic (ages 18-25)

Must be 18-25 years old to volunteer for Epic.
  • Café: Serve drinks and food to Epic attendees and create a welcoming atmosphere.

  • Compassion: Coordinate with local non-profit organizations and the outreach staff to plan and organize local outreach events for Epic.

  • Connections: Run the check-in systems, greets guests, answers questions about Epic and makes attendees feel welcome at Epic services and events.

  • Event Planning: Plan and work on details and logistics for on and off-campus events. This includes sporting events, study events, recreational events, retreats, etc.

  • Portability: Leads the setup and tear-down for on and off-campus events.

  • Tech and Stage: Run the sound, lighting, video, and graphics systems to create quality Thursday night services.

  • Worship Band: Use vocal and/or instrumental talent to lead worship at Epic Thursday night services and retreats.
