Overcoming Depression and Anxiety

Do you have feelings of sadness, hopelessness or even suicide? Do you have trouble concentrating or have strong anxiety episodes? Have you experienced scary, uncontrollable, thoughts or a change in sleep and eating habits? These are just a few of the symptoms relating to depression or anxiety.

Depression can be called a disease of the emotions. It’s classification, as a mental illness does not make it any less real or painful. It is a common disease and at any time, around one in twenty people will be suffering from it.

It has been proven through studies that just learning about depression and anxiety can help lessen the symptoms. In addition to the coping tools that we can help you with, you will be in fellowship with other people who know what you are going through. They feel the same things you do. And, they are going through the same struggles.  This group for men and women is all about helping depression and anxiety sufferers to take action and use their trials to live victorious and fruitful lives.

"I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world." John 16:33

Materials will be provided at the group for summer months.
